Forest View Hospital is a 82-bed private psychiatric facility located seven miles southeast of downtown Grand Rapids. Michigan. Dedicated to excellence and innovation, Forest View brings over 40 years of experience to the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health problems. We believe that moderate to severe mental disorders of children, adolescent and adults result from the interaction of biological, psychological and social factors. Each area is thoroughly evaluated and a physician-led multi-disciplinary team of clinicians provide treatment. Treatment is individualized and includes the patient as an important member of the treatment team. Our goal is to help each person obtain relief from their illness and to facilitate reentry into the community as soon as possible. General treatment options include acute inpatient treatment for adults, children & adolescents and partial hospitalization for adults, children and adolescents. Specialized treatment options include eating disorders treatment, a psychological trauma program and co-occurring disorders (substance abuse) treatment. Patients can call themselves or may be referred by a mental health professional, family physician, pastor or family member.
