Biography
I am a psychotherapist/clinical social worker providing therapy to teens, adults and families.
Life is complex and one in which any additional stress can affect our ability to cope. My role as a psychotherapist is one of a partner with my clients, working together to find healthy ways through that maze we call life. When you experience emotional struggles, life stressors, trauma, loss, family dysfunction, or medical concerns, it is not uncommon to feel as if life is unraveling. Utilizing a person-centered approach, I will work with you to develop positive strategies to navigate those obstacle in your life path, better understand your emotions, and develop positive coping strategies for living your best life.
I have been a psychotherapist/clinical social worker for 44 years, providing services to children, teens, adults, and families as well as supervision for new therapists entering the field. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered, mindfulness, and psychodynamic approaches depending upon the needs of the client to provide comprehensive care.
Therapy can be a transformative and empowering experience, and I would be honored to be a part of your journey.
