Rose Hill Center is a private, non-profit residential treatment facility located on 372 wooded, rolling acres in Holly Township, between Flint and Detroit. Founded in 1992, Rose Hill offers comprehensive psychiatric treatment and rehabilitation services to adults with mental illness. At Rose Hill, patients are guided through a carefully developed—and highly effective—therapeutic program that helps them gain insight into their illness, learn to manage their medications and develop coping skills. Rose Hill's major program components include therapeutic work skills, clinical care, social interaction, recreation and independent living skills. Based on an Individualized Treatment Plan, patients may also participate in Rose Hill’s Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Program (DBT). By combining medication review and management with intensive therapeutic residential rehabilitation and a continuum of care options, Rose Hill gives patients the tools they need to regain and maintain psychiatric stability and go on to lead rewarding lives. In addition to being diagnosed with mental illness, successful candidates for treatment at Rose Hill must meet the following criteria:
