Here at the Lake Orion Counseling Center, our mission is simple: helping you. We are committed to helping you work past the barriers that have complicated your life and to achieve your goals. To do this, we use a client-centered approach that adjusts to each person’s needs. We view therapy as collaborative, requiring effort on both the part of the therapist and the client. As therapists, it is our job to discover the technique that works best for you and to help you attain new insights. As the client, it is your job to be open to those insights and to take what you have learned during sessions and apply it to your daily interactions. We have sought to create an environment to help you learn and heal, including a comfortable waiting area and warm office settings to allow you to feel at ease. An additional step we have taken is cutting down the number of people who have access to your information. Our electronic filing system helps to ensure the confidentiality of your personal information by keeping it in the hands of your therapist. |
