Starfish Family Services (SFS) is a private, nonprofit human service agency, serving children, youth, adults and families from throughout Southeastern Michigan. The organization was created by the 1998 merger of two long-established human service agencies – Youth Living Centers and Northwestern Community Services. Starfish Family Services, "continuum of care" is a source for education and training, counseling and treatment, respite and support, inspiration and opportunity for children, parents and other community members.
