Havenwyck Hospital, Inc. is a full-service private psychiatric hospital with 182 licensed inpatient beds (120 psychiatric and 62 residential). Located on Galloway Lake, in Auburn Hills, Havenwyck offers inpatient adult psychiatry (including dual diagnosis treatment, inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry and day (partial) hospital programs for children, adolescents and adults. Programming is sub-specialized by developmental age groups: children (ages 4-9), intermediate children (ages 10-13), adolescents (ages 14-17) young adults (ages 18-24), adults and geriatrics. In addition, the hospital is licensed by the State of Michigan Center for Substance Abuse Services and offers specialized programs. An immediate assessment program offers 24-hour emergency access to the facility. Havenwyck Center is a 62 bed residential program for emotionally/behaviorally disturbed adolescents (ages 10-18). The program, uses a family empowerment model and is a licensed Family Independence Agency child caring institution. The Hospital is contracted with the Oakland County Community Mental Health Board for inpatient and day hospital services for children and adults. Havenwyck participates with more than 120 managed health care entities and is one of the leading psychiatric hospitals in Michigan.
